Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Students and Well-wishers,

Greetings to you.
It gives me great joy to connect with you through our school website. As we celebrate teachers day on 5th September
I would like to reflect on the Role of a Teacher in Today’s World.
In the past, a teacher was seen mainly as a giver of knowledge. But today, the world has changed. Information is available everywhere ,on Google, on YouTube, and on AI. So what is the role of a teacher now?
In today’s world, a teacher is not just one who teaches lessons from a textbook. A teacher is a mentor, a guide, a friend, and a second parent. A teacher shapes character before shaping career.
Today’s children face many challenges ,stress, distractions, competition, and confusion about values. In such times, a teacher’s role is to listen patiently, to understand their struggles, to instill confidence, and to show the right path with love and discipline.
A true teacher does not create fear, but creates curiosity. A teacher does not punish to hurt, but corrects to build. A teacher does not just prepare a child for an exam, but prepares the child for life ,to be honest, compassionate, responsible, and God-fearing.
At St Francis School, we believe teaching is not a profession, it is a mission. I am proud of our teachers who work tirelessly every day to make this mission alive.

Let us together , parents and teachers , work hand in hand to build a better future for our children.
God bless you all.
